Late last night, HIGH TIMES Magazine crowned Jessica of Arizona as this year’s official Miss HIGH TIMES winner, following a hotly contested pageant held in conjunction with an exclusive 4/20 party in New York City.
Jessica will serve as the magazine’s official “smokesmodel,” a position that includes a trip to the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, where she will help crown the world’s best pot.

Every entrant certifies that she is 18 years of age or older, that she has no objection to the smoking of marijuana or being depicted as smoking marijuana in any and all photos used by HIGH TIMES and THC. Entrant certifies that photos are voluntarily submitted and are of the actual entrant him/herself. No nude photos please.
All photos submitted become the property of HIGH TIMES Magazine and Trans-High Corp (THC). By submitting photos, you grant HIGH TIMES and THC exclusive right to use them in any manner it deems fit—for print or web publication, for promotional, editorial or commercial purposes. Entrants waive any right to royalties or related claims against HT or Trans High Corporation for use of images. Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold HT/THC harmless from any and all claims regarding the use, exploitation and/or misappropriation of photos submitted, and any and all costs, fees, or attorney fees.
Employees of Trans-High Corporation or their immediate family are not eligible.

Each month, HIGH TIMES will choose one entrant to be deemed a finalist and feature her as our ganja girl of the month in the magazine. Each year, a number of these finalists will be selected to win a free trip to the location of our choosing to participate in the MISS HIGH TIMES Pageant. Entrants will be obligated to appear at all competition events and make such personal appearances as directed by HIGH TIMES, including photo shoots. If selected entrant is unable to attend the pageant, an alternate will be chosen.
The winner will receive a year's subscription to HIGH TIMES, an assortment of HIGH TIMES products, a free trip to the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, and be the star of a professional photo shoot for a possible cover and/or centerfold in HIGH TIMES.

The nature of the MISS HIGH TIMES Pageant and website has recently changed. In order to better understand the new structure of the contest, please read through these frequently asked questions before you email us. If your question is not addressed here, you may email us at missht@hightimes.com.
How do I enter the contest?
Create a profile, answer the questions, and post your best pot-related photos. Be sure to read the rules carefully before entering. Once you've made a profile, you are eligible to be chosen as a finalist.
What is a "finalist?"
The girls pictured in the magazine each month (Miss May, etc.) are the finalists.
How are finalists chosen?
The High Times staff chooses the finalists based on popularity, quality of photos, and personal info. We will then contact the contestant and request that they submit higher resolution copies of their photos that are suitable for printing.
Does the online viewer rating affect who is chosen as a finalist?
Not officially, no. But naturally we will have our eyes on which contestants rise to the top of the rankings.
What do I win if I'm chosen as a finalist?
You will have your photo printed in the magazine as our ganja girl of the month and become eligible to win a free trip to compete in that year's pageant.
Which finalists will win the free trip?
A number of the finalists will win free trips to compete in the pageant. When the time comes for us to choose, the HT staff will vote on which finalists will win the tickets to attend.
When and how will the finalists find out if they are going?
We will notify them via email or on this website.
When / where is the pageant?
The location and date of next year's next pageant will be announced at a later date on this website.
What happens if I win the free trip but I can't attend?
An alternate finalist will be chosen to win instead.
If I'm not chosen as a finalist in the magazine, can I still enter the pageant?
Yes. If you come to the pageant, we will hold an audition round to choose one wildcard finalist. We may also hold finalist auditions at some of our other events during the year.
When is the deadline for sumitting your entry?
There is no deadline — all profiles submitted will remain in the contestant pool until you (or we) choose to remove them. Those who are not chosen for 2009 will automatically be eligible for 2010, etc.

So I took this recipe that I got online and tried it and tho it took a while it was quite a bit bomb... here’s how you make it...
Take 2 to 3 Ounces of fine buds and pack them into a one and a half quart thermos bottle. Heat a quart of good tequila in a double boiler on an electric burner... DO NOT USE A GAS BURNER... The alcohol I used was "Casa Noble Crystal" which I prefer to patron silver, it was quite delicious... Sprinkle a pinch or two of pure crystalline vitamin C into the thermos... this will keep your end product clear and not mucky. Don’t crush vitamin C pills you can buy pure crystalline vitamin C at a health store or pharmacy. Anyways after you sprinkle the buds with vitamin C then you pour the hot tequila into the thermos and allow to blend for two full weeks... after the two weeks drain the tequila into a dark bottle and store in a cool dark place...
Once you have your alcohol you can make all sorts of things... the one I’m sipping on now is a blueberry peach smoothie but you can make all sorts of different kinds... Here’s how I made this one... and remember left over weed gets saved for cannabutter…
*1 can of peaches in heavy syrup
*2 self servings of peach yogurt
*1 to 2 tablespoons of Marijuana Tequila (15ml tablespoons)
*4 large spoons of vanilla ice cream
*1 full cup of frozen blueberries.
*1 to 1 ½ trays of ice or fill blender
This also tastes great with margaritas and is great for Jello shots. Makes 1 full blender and 2-4 refreshing stoney drinks for you and yours to enjoy. Many are drinks which pretty much no one would expect, Unless they know you well... and seriously “I’M NOT CONDONING THIS” but I could could have spiked the drinks with this at my 16th Birthday party in front of my parents and they wouldnt have ever known what hit em = } weed alcohol would have been so much cooler then normal alcohol. Lol anywho hope you all enjoy the recipe..

More than just staying high-- staying healthy-- is a lifestyle.
Staying medicated all the time could mean that you lay around eating burgers and Snickers bars. But if you are also balancing yourself with nature, you probably are going to check out the local Farmer's Market. Although the Snickers bar does sound kind of good right now. . .;)
The everyday hustle and bustle is not worth the stress!
The coast will teach you to slow down. And a nonviolent community will teach you to calm down!

Even in pot country, in a small town there might only be one co-op. There might be fields of green a few miles down the road, but it won't do any good without safe access!
